ÚT PINK STUDIO
Út Pink Studio is an art residency established on the site of a former brick-making workshop and residence along the Thay Cai Canal, where eight original ceramic kilns remain intact. The site brings together an Artist Residency for long-term stays, a Homestay, and creative studio spaces. The project seeks to connect the preservation of Mang Thit’s brick-and-ceramic heritage with contemporary art, while creating opportunities to experience the culture and everyday life of the local community.

Sunrise over the Red Kingdom
Drawing on the traditional houses commonly found across Mang Thit, the accommodation at Út Pink has been transformed from a family home into a colourful retreat deeply rooted in the spirit of the Mekong Delta.
Stay for a night and wake to a sunlit dawn, watch boats moving quietly along the canal in the early morning, and hear the sound of bricks being stacked into their holds — a simple way to experience Mang Thit as a living heritage.

For generations, the Thay Cai Canal has served as a vital waterway connecting Mang Thit’s brick kilns with the Co Chien River. A slow journey along the water reveals another side of the Red Kingdom, as shifting daylight transforms the old brick walls from warm orange to deep red throughout the day.
